After 70 Years of Ridicule, UFOs Are Finally Being Taken Seriously at Washington

From birds to a weather balloon, the explanations are countless and often prosaic. However, explanations differ from the experiences and encounters by light-years. Mick West has rightly pointed out that lots of people see things. Yet, somehow it is hard to believe that several navy pilots would be mistaken with such sights.

For many years, people have refrained from talking about UFOs. And rightly so, losing your job and being called “delusional” are far worse than just keeping your mouth shut. However, from the year 2017, several extraordinary things have happened with regards to UFOs. Not only did the Pentagon declassify actual UFO footage, but several navy pilots such as Ryan Graves, Commander David Fravor, and Alex Anne Dietrich have also come forward with fascinating encounters.

It has not only led to a paradigm shift in public perception but has also forced the Donald Trump government (before leaving office, obviously) to order the Pentagon to declassify every bit of information it has on UFOs. The report is expected by June 25, and the speculations and debates are skyrocketing right now.

What are the two sides to this issue?

On one side, we have journalists like Jeremy Corbell (investigative filmmaker) and George Knapp with the backing of several credible sources such as Senator Harry Reid, Christopher Mellon, several navy professionals, and even President Barack Obama. However, on the other side, there are people like Mick West along with other skeptics who are still reluctant to give any credence to this sudden surge of hard evidence in favor of UFOs (an acronym for Unidentified Flying Object).

However, even the likes of Mick West shares consensus that there is a need for proper investigation into these objects. This is albeit the fact that he claims all of these events have terrestrial explanations and can be easily explained as optical illusions. However, a recent New York Times report did state that these objects are pretty much real and they haven’t been created by the US military.

This brings all the attention to the infamous UFO report due to be issued by DNI and Pentagon.

Luis Elizondo, most commonly regarded as the crux of the entire UFO activism and former Pentagon investigator, is pretty pessimistic about the upcoming report. He revealed during an interview with Tucker Carlson that these reports might be obfuscated to the point where they do not add anything to what is also publicly known.

To summarize the whole issue, the US military is seeing some objects which are hard to explain with natural or less-outstanding explanations. Their origins are a mystery, and they do show specific characteristics, which have been often considered to be light-years ahead. Luis Elizondo categorized these characteristics into five observables during the time of his investigations at AATIP. The five observables are cloaking or radar evasiveness, instantaneous acceleration, anti-gravity, no known propulsion system, trans medium travel. If you wish, you can include hypersonic velocity in there somewhere because it’s important.

We would have to see where this topic goes from here. But, right now, it is safe to say that a lie is very close to the truth.
